Perhaps you want to spend creative time with your children. Our Christmas tree (and our home) is decorated with lovingly handmade items from when they were 3 years old to ones made now they are all teenagers. Decorating the tree takes ages because of all the memories each item brings back. An interior designer would probably be horrified and want a colour co-ordinated theme, but we prefer having fun creating our own "masterpieces" and memories. In this age of computer games and playstations etc (which we do have as well), creativity should be encouraged in our children
